We are back to Turlock for Thanksgiving and more family time (and shopping!). Harper had her first real Thanksgiving meal, promptly followed by 'helping' in the kitchen, which meant she has discovered how to crawl INTO the dishwasher! Pretty funny...though probably not too safe. Harper is just blooming so much on this trip, coming out of her mom and dad shell. She is really enjoying seeing and being around so many people and is becoming quite social, and a bit of a show-off. She got to meet her cousin, Carter, who is a month younger than her, though he is bigger, has more teeth and is walking. Maybe his good influence in the walking dept. will rub off on Harper, though why on earth would you learn to walk when everyone is so eager to hold and carry you??? Carter's mom, Melissa, is a beautiful woman, and I can't believe that the last time I saw her she was like 10! Harper also got to meet Barbara and Kate, Richard, Jeanie + Chris, Megan, Matt, Josh, Stephanie, Vincent, Paul and probably a few I'm forgetting! Sorry! Harper had a blast playing with everyone, especially Mom and Nanny and Papa. I wish we could be closer so that Harper could be around more of her relatives, or rather, our relatives could be closer--not that we don't love CA, but we just love CO more!
