The ultimate hangover from Christmas? Yep, you all saw it right, that is a
positive pregnancy test, SB #2 is on its way, due for arrival on September
30. That'll mean Harper is 23 months older than her sibling, are we crazy or
what????? We are of course very happy and excited, I only hope this baby
doesn't make me as sick as our beautiful Harper did. I don't know if I can
handle chasing a toddler around while feeling like barfing all day long like
I did with Harper! So far so good, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Now we
just need a bigger house--yikes! In other news, Mike's grandfather passed
away at the age of 92 on New Years Day. He made it to 2003 then passed
quietly in his sleep. We went back to Texas for the funeral where we saw
many family members that I had never met and that Mike had not seen in
years. It was a sad occasion for which to be gathered, but being amongst
family made it not so bad. Mike's grandmother Starlie said to him, "Why did
you go and get so fat?", quite amusing! Now we are just hanging out, waiting
for snow that doesn't seem to want to come, so that we can hit the slopes.
We may be waiting till next winter...And one final note...Harper has learned
where her belly is. She says something that sounds like belly and then pats
it. She has taken a liking to coming over to me, pulling my shirt up and
sticking her little fingers in my belly button and saying "belly". Imagine
what she'll think of my belly in about another eight months!!!
